Community Amenities

Throughout Presbyterian Manor – from the spacious lounge to the library to the cozy sitting areas – there is an emphasis on creating a space that feels like home. Outside, the landscaped courtyards, winding walkways and quiet patio areas provide a natural and invigorating complement to life inside.

The Manor dining room provides high-quality, nutritious food service in a comfortable and refined environment. Special dietary restrictions can be accommodated. Resident conveniences include housekeeping and laundry services, complimentary laundry machines, a beauty and barber shop, and the Manor Store – an onsite mini-market stocked with groceries and sundries.

Activities

At Presbyterian Manor, residents find a place to live a balanced and fulfilling life in mind, body and spirit.

From the dining room to the recreation room, you’ll find our residents enjoying the company of their neighbors. And hardly a day goes by without the opportunity to travel off campus to community events, lunch out of town or a night at the symphony.

Residents can choose from a wide array of activities planned by the full-time Activities Director, from ceramics and sewing classes to movie matinees and mid-morning coffee socials. The computer center is always available to go online and e-mail friends and family. The Manor also arranges for trips to area museums, art galleries, grocery stores and shopping centers. How busy you are is always up to you!

Residents can also directly impact life at the Manor by serving on the Resident Council or by participating in a variety of community service projects coordinated through our Volunteer Services Office. Stay informed on important issues, such as financial planning and current events, through onsite presentations and programs.

The halls of the Manor seldom fall completely silent as our residents are sure to be found visiting with friends and family in the lounge areas, playing cards and other games, and swapping stories about their grandchildren over fresh coffee. And, of course, there’s no substitute for a great meal and great conversation in the dining room!

Promoting a calm and complete spiritual environment is a core value at Presbyterian Manor. Through opportunities of Bible study, church service and regular times of communion, the Manor strives to provide a home for the spirit, as well as the mind and body.

It’s our goal to make life simpler, so that our residents can live more fully.
