Building
on a Tradition of Excellence
In keeping with the tradition of excellence by Presbyterian Manor,
a higher standard of care has been established for The House of Hope.
This beautiful, home-like center has been carefully designed to meet
and exceed the requirements for facilities of its kind. It is truly
a specialized community where residents with Alzheimer's and dementia,
along with their loved ones, can maximize the quality of their days
and find the support they need throughout the progression of their disease.
There is no other place like it within 100 miles of Wichita Falls.
Our planning
team of experts traveled to premier Alzheimer's centers across the country
prior to designing our facility. Presbyterian Manor's 60-bed Center
for Special Care combines the very best from these centers to create
an exceptional community designed to meet the specialized needs of those
with Alzheimer's and dementia during every stage of their illness. Equal
emphasis is placed on supporting the families and care givers of residents
who struggle to understand the debilitating changes in their loved ones.
Tranquil and serene, The manor's House of Hope is located
on a 15 acre campus in the Stone Lake addition, just minutes from the
Presbyterian Manor campus on Taft Boulevard. This site is easily accessible
and centrally located in the prospering southern corridor of our city.
Just as the Manor is a landmark in one of Wichita Falls' well-established
neighborhoods, The House of Hope will be a cornerstone of
this thriving subdivisions.
From facility design to furniture selection and room arrangement, the
unique needs of those with all stages of Alzheimer's and dementia have
been considered. Therapeutic programs such as music recreation and art
therapy, are individually designed to encourage residents to remain
active for as long as possible doing things that reflect their lifelong
interests. Safety and security is a priority with each suite
carefully monitored And yet, residents have access to secured, outside
courtyards allowing them to enjoy the beauty of the changing seasons
in spite of their illness.
For the first time, residents in the the Wichita Falls area have access
to a complete continuum c care with the same standard for quality they
have enjoyed at Presbyterian Manor.
