Administration/Education areas:
Office space for clinical and support staff
Private consultation rooms
Room for staff orientation and specialized training, support group meetings for family members/caregivers, and special events
Private dining room for family/residents
Guest rooms for out of town family members

Staffing:

Clinical: Medical Director, RNs, LVNs and Nurse Aides – with extensive training in the care of individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia
Expanded Social Work, Therapy and Activity Staff to work with the clinical team to create a plan of care and activities that compliment the patient’s cognitive and physical capabilities along with their personal interests
Environmental services (Housekeeping and Laundry)
Dietary services (Including licensed dietician)

Care will be specialized with a unique focus on the needs of Alzheimer's and dementia patients
Staff will be more specialized and expanded services will be provided in areas such as social work
Alzheimer's / dementia impacts the entire family - extensive care and support will be provided to these individuals as well as the patient
Residents will reside in a secured suite along with others who are at a similar stage in their illness.
All rooms are private and each secured suite has spacious common areas, dining and outside courtyards.
Continuity of care - Residents can move from suite to suite as their disease progresses eliminating the inconvenience and stress of relocation to another facility
Presbyterian Manor residents who are diagnosed with Alzheimer's / dementia will enjoy a complete continuum of care taking them from independent living to this specialized community, when needed.
